-Spock, ST V
school stinks. tests get harder, essays get longer and grades drop. ok, so i still get a 4.3 gpa. need to get out of high school soon. i have 3 classes during senior year, so i'm hoping to take those at ohlone and graduate next year, then attend college the following fall. praying so hard about it. don't think my counselor or parents will approve. forget senior year neways. i don't go to dances, i don't pay $150 for prom. if you feel some sympathy, you can petition my counselor lol. on a positive note: 1 more week until ST IV DVD comes out. yippieskippie

Man, what a weekend. The good part of it is that I went skiing. I went to Sugar Bowl in Tahoe and it was cool. Lots of good runs, I'm almost there too. I also saw a fellow scouter that was in my patrol. We must both like skiing.
Ok, now the bad part. First, as I was getting the ski's off of our van, my wet boots slipped on the plastic edge-like part of our car, I fell backwards into the door, which went back into someone's car. Made a small knick but they were pissed enough to force us to give them our insurance info, etc. I think they scratched most of the stuff of with their fingers, but what do you expect from those college students? (no offense to anyone, just the bad attitude is pretty typical.
Second, I still have a 5 paragraph essay and a Bible project to do! Aghhh!!!!!!!!!!! Bible project isn't as much of a concern, i'm probably doing it on Friday so i have time to revise it. Essay is going to stink so bad, can't get an A on it. i'll just have to trust God and really put my BS'ing skills to work, haha (heh, no, they won't work =(...)

well, it had to happen sometime. yep...that's what i'm talking about. finally SBC got themselves down here and fixed our phone lines. We've been without the ability to receive phone calls for 2 days now, and it's finally back. now, they just need to get us our dsl, and we'll be happy campers. According to their policy, that's going to be another 7 days! i'll fix that though...hehehehe *cough*cough. neways, so i found out we're finally going skiing this weekend! yeah! it stinks though because right now the sierra's are mostly a giant slushy until the next storm, which is predicted to happen on sunday, when we return, ugh...it'll be cool though just as long as i don't do a faceplant into a fat rock like my canadian friend did, hehe.
WEBSITE UPDATE: will end my laziness as soon as i find a descent webhost with no ads and FTP. until then i've got other things to do.

Well, today was obviously a wasteful day. But it was fun. It can be summarized in 4 events:
1.) Went to church
2.) Cleaned house
3.) Played Splinter Cell
4.) Ate a good dinner (hot pot, yummm....! = )
-->5.) did NOT do homework
Well, the night is still young, so i'll wash up and do homework in bed until i drift out of consciousness.

Today was an odd, but rather exciting day. After FINALLY driving outside of the Tri-Valley, I arrived in good ol' Hayward to fix my g-ma's comp. it was a sweet comp., a dell p4 1.99 gHz w/ an LCD. (ok, maybe just the LCD was sweet). was easy, my g-ma was one of those amazing computer whizzes. Afterwards, i went home and watched rush hour 2 for the millionth time, but it was still good.
well, the highlight of the day was tract passing @ the s.f. chinese new year's parade. We had like 4000 tracts as passed almost all of them out. many took them, some dropped them, some said very un-saintly words, but it was all cool. then we went to king wah's for dinner, all 40 of us!
i still got homework to do, ugh...got a messy room to clean, ugh...got a broken computer to fix...double ugh...but i think i'll go watch tech tv and ask chris pirillo for help. maybe i'll go play splinter cell and make another futile attempt to pass the CIA level. maybe i'll sleep.

FRIENDS
Like a typical teen (although sometimes un-typical for a geek), I've got friends. Most of my friends are nice, but I've lost respect for some of them ;( Yesterday, one of them asked me, "hey scott, can i borrow you wordskills book?" Being the good friend i am, i was going to do so, but asked him "y?" He replied, "because i'm too lazy to do it tonight." now here's a friend i've known since 4th grade, who has been the smartest geek in the class every year, wanting to cheat! furthermore, my other azn friend was there and said "gosh scott!" because i said no. this wasn't where my lost of respect started either. These guys started cussing, first via AIM and stuff, then in front of my face. can't believe it. it's terrible. i don't give a rip if it's only for humor or it unexpectedly comes out, i hate it. i'm probably going to start whacking them on the head any time a 4-letter word comes out. it's probably the music and tv shows they see and hear. tsk tsk. i'm tempted to abandon them, but i kno i must be an example, even if they think i'm a prep or something. they'll get what they deserve. i'll say this: don't let your friends become corrupted, whether in speech or actions. it's all about integrity.

Okay, well I finally got my blog and my tagboard up and already within minutes of it was I spammed by someone saying GOD HELP US ALL. I guess that's life on the net these days. Once I get more time and my brain is less foggy, i'll post more.
